Crows Statement Regarding Josh Worrell caught DUI & Using his mobile while driving

1 min read

Emerging Adelaide player Josh Worrell was stopped by police while driving in Adelaide’s western suburbs on Sunday morning.

Worrell, who holds a probationary driver’s licence, will be issued with an expiation notice for using his mobile phone while driving, as well as having a low level prescribed concentration of alcohol in his blood (o.056).

He had stayed overnight at a team mate’s house before driving home this morning (Sunday 13th of December). He was stopped by police at approximately 9:00am.

Crows head of Football Adam Kelly said while it was a police matter, the Club would consider enforcing its own sanction.

“Josh is disappointed and rightfully so as this behaviour is clearly a breach of our standards and those of the community,” Kelly said.
