This network was created at a crucial time when women’s sport is transitioning for the better. With events like the AFLW, Women’s Big Bash, and Matilda’s success in the sporting world, it’s definitely a great time to be a female sports enthusiast.
These women believe that it is necessary for the community to have access to reliable information on female sports, much like that of the information that is available to male sports.
The ladies League Podcast’s mission is to break social and cultural norms that sport is a male interest, and to do this, it begins with making sports a walkable and enjoyable topic for all.
This podcast is for people who are eager to be more informed about female sports and want to join the movement in supporting female sports and the teams that take part.
The Ladies League Podcast was designed to offer support to women’s sport and increase female involvement.
This network was established by women of various ages who are passionate about sport and encouraging future leaders of Australia.
Essentially, The Ladies League Podcast is about building on the momentum of female sports in the community and providing a platform to advocate change.
With the addition of pressuring the men in their lives to listen and enjoy, while in turn understanding the battles that women have faced in the past and still strive to overcome.
